The Centre for Social Conflict and Cohesion Studies (COES) invite to the Conference Concentrations, to be held the 14th, 15th and 16th of November 2018 at the Faculty of Social Sciences of the Universidad de Chile in Santiago

The COES 2018 Conference seeks to discuss specialized and interdisciplinary research about political socialization, participation, interpersonal and intergroup interactions, formation of social networks, social ties, and perceptions and judgements about Society in the strenghtening and reinvention of social cohesion.

    The first edition was focused on the social movements, legitimacy and the collective action in the public sphere.

    This new version explored the conflicts and social cohesion from the territorial dimension.
  • 2016 Conference

    The problems generated and exacerbated by the different social inequalities that the people face everyday was the main subject of the third edition of the COES Conference.
  • 2017 Conference

    Social links and citizenhood
    The last version of the COES Conference explored the interaction experiences between different groups in a mixed society.
