PANEL SOCIEDAD CIVIL

Civil society plays a key role in the construction of norms to rule our society, in raising issues to public debate that otherwise would go unnoticed and in meeting the needs of disadvantaged social groups. Thus, civil society is a fundamental part in the struggle against inequality. This panel analyses the work conducted by several civil society organizations in order to promote the rights of citizens who have been historically excluded and to improve their living conditions.

That is why COES LSE Conference 2016, "Inequalities" opens this space to discuss with leaders of civil society. This activity will take place on 4th of November, between 15:50 to 17:05 at Auditorium PWC of Facultad Economía y Negocios of Universidad de Chile (Diagonal Paraguay 205).
